Customization: Example
Probably the best example of customization is our inhouse development of special packings. Chemical substances may be hazardous and dust forming materials. Handling during processing can set plant employees at risk, requiring additional measures for personal protection.
To overcome problems in handling water soluble Azo initiators (irritant substances), we have, since 1997, developed several different forms of safe supply such as 25 kg "mini" big bags.
Reaction systems often are based on water as solvent. Since 2002 we supply this product line in water soluble bags made of PVA, a well accepted and elegant delivery system bsed on encapsulation techniques well known to chemical and pharmaceutical industry.
Synazo is exclusive Sublicencee for Europe (except Kemira, its subsidiaries and affiliates) of HPL's sole licence agrement to Temsa patent EP 1620473B1 on supply systems for water soluble Azo initiators in water soluble bags.
